Volleyball Recap: Calvary Christian Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

It was a proper cat-fight when Calvary Christian challenged Walton-Verona on Tuesday. The Cougars walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bearcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in March.

Calvary Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Walton-Verona, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-9.

Coming up, Calvary Christian will square off against Frederick Douglass at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, Walton-Verona and Dayton will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bearcats are facing the Greendevils at the right time seeing as the Greendevils are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
