Basketball Recap: Geyserville Takes a Loss

Geyserville played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Trinity Prep Crusaders, falling 47-26. The Bronchos were down 41-21 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Tanner Cholmondeley continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Trinity Prep, dropping a double-double with 28 points and 12 rebounds. Cholmondeley has been hot, having posted nine or more boards the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of David Hill, who posted 13 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals.

Geyserville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Trinity Prep, their record now sits at 3-1.

Geyserville will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Potter Valley at 5:30 p.m. on January 13, 2026. As for Trinity Prep, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Victory Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
