Oak Grove has gone 7-1 against Montgomery Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Tuesday. The Grizzlies will head out on the road to  challenge  the Timberwolves  at 7:00  p.m. Oak Grove is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4  runs per game  this season.
Oak Grove lost  17-10 to Northwest Guilford on Saturday. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Addison Terry was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Terry was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI.
 In other batting news, Oak Grove got a big performance out of  Kaden Hart, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3. Hart is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games he's  played.  Cam Sharpe also deserves some recognition as  he  launched his first  home run of the season.
 Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Montgomery Central's offense. They came up short against  Central Davidson on Friday, falling  7-0. The Timberwolves haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.
 Montgomery Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Oak Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
 Everything went Oak Grove's way against Montgomery Central in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024, as Oak Grove made off with  an  11-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Grizzlies since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
