Basketball Recap: Forreston Gets the Win

Forreston hadn't done well against Lena-Winslow recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Forreston Cardinals walked away with a 53-44 win over the Lena-Winslow Panthers. This was a revenge game for the Cardinals: when they faced off against the Panthers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 63-57 defeat.

Forreston's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Lena-Winslow, they dropped their record down to 12-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Forreston will host Oregon at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lena-Winslow has already played their next game (against Hinckley-Big Rock), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
