Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Maximus Inboon and Jayden Vang Lead Sanger West to Victory

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Sanger West walked away with it. They came out on top against the Madera South Stallions by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Stallions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Sanger West had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-18, 25-11, 25-16.

Leading Sanger West to victory were Jayden Vang and Maximus Inboon. Vang had 34 assists and 11 digs, while Inboon had 13 digs and one assist. Vang is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 12 games he's played.

Sanger West pushed their record up to 24-14 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Madera South, they moved to 26-18 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Sanger West will face off against San Luis Obispo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Madera South does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
