Soccer Recap: Prairie View Takes a Loss

Prairie View's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Erie Tigers by a score of 3-2. While losing is never fun, Prairie View can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 89th, while Erie are ranked 12th).

Baylee Hoskins wasn't going to let Erie walk away unscathed as she scored both of Prairie View's goals, bringing her season total up to ten goals.

Prairie View now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Erie, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0-1.

Prairie View wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Riverdale Ridge on the 10th. As for Erie, they will face off against Cherry Creek at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cherry Creek's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Erie's offense will have their work cut out for them.
