Volleyball Recap: Burlingame Comes Up Short

Burlingame was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Olpe Eagles. The Bearcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Burlingame had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19.

Burlingame's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Olpe, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.

Coincidentally, Burlingame and Olpe will both be playing Hartford the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bearcats will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
