Volleyball Recap: Burlingame Comes Up Short

Burlingame was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Olpe Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bearcats of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Burlingame had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19.

Burlingame's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Olpe, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.

Coincidentally, Burlingame and Olpe will both be playing Hartford the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bearcats will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
