Football Recap: Make It 12 in a Row for Immaculata-La Salle + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Immaculata-La Salle walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Ransom Everglades Raiders on Friday as they made off with a 42-16 victory. Considering the Royal Lions have won ten games by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Immaculata-La Salle found their leader in sophomore Adrian Cox, who rushed for 241 yards and three scores while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. Those 241 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Cox. Another player making a difference was Nate Merrell Jr., who threw for 108 yards and one touchdown.

Despite the loss, Ransom Everglades still got an impressive performance from Matthew Guevara, who threw for 168 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 81 yards.

The win keeps Immaculata-La Salle at an undefeated 12-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 36.5 points this season. As for Ransom Everglades, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-5.

Immaculata-La Salle didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-17 defeat against Cardinal Gibbons on the 28th. Ransom Everglades does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
