Basketball Recap: Mt. St. Joseph Academy Takes a Loss

Mt. St. Joseph Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Burr & Burton Bulldogs, falling 66-46. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-45 two weeks ago.

Mt. St. Joseph Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Burr & Burton, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Looking ahead, Mt. St. Joseph Academy is taking a road trip to square off against Otter Valley at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Otter Valley will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Mt. St. Joseph Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Burr & Burton, they will be playing at home against Champlain Valley Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Burr & Burton is facing Champlain Valley Union at the right time seeing as Champlain Valley Union is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
