Football Recap: Pearl City-Eastland Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Pearl City-Eastland faced off against Lena-Winslow on Friday. The Wildcats were outmatched by the Panthers and fell 60-32. The Wildcats have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Pearl City-Eastland's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Lena-Winslow, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Meanwhile, Lena-Winslow will challenge rival Durand/Pecatonica at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Damian Rivera and Dermot Dolan.
