Recap: Fredericktown Black Cats vs. Potosi Trojans        
        
		
            
 The Fredericktown Black Cats had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with  a   53-43  victory over Potosi  on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Fredericktown, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
 Fredericktown got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Amelia Miller out in front who  dropped  a double-double on 14 points and ten  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ava Penuel, who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and ten  rebounds.
 Fredericktown's win  ended a four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 7-8. As for Potosi, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, as they've  lost 11 of their last 12 games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fredericktown will take on Saxony Lutheran at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Hopefully Saxony Lutheran focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 21 last Saturday. As for Potosi, they the luxury  of staying home another  game and will welcome Farmington at 7:30  p.m.  on January 25th. Farmington presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Potosi in Missouri (Farmington is ranked 71st, while Potosi is ranked 436th).
