Basketball Recap: Pipestem Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Pipestem Christian Academy lost against Calvary Baptist Academy on February 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pipestem Christian Academy Panthers were dealt a 75-32 loss at the hands of the Calvary Baptist Academy Patriots. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered since December 7, 2024.

Bryson Childers was his usual excellent self, going 7-for-10 en route to 22 points and four steals for Calvary Baptist Academy. Brady Good was another key player, going 6-for-11 to rack up 13 points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Pipestem Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season.

Pipestem Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 65-48 defeat against Teays Valley Christian on the 21st. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 75-46 win against Grace Christian on the 21st.
