Softball Recap: Nashua North Takes a Loss

Nashua North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 28th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Alvirne Broncos. Even if the Titans couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Nashua North's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Alvirne, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Nashua North is set to square off against their familiar foe Goffstown at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Alvirne will challenge rival Merrimack at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
