Volleyball Recap: Heritage Academy Comes Up Short

Heritage Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Neshoba Central Rockets.

Heritage Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-10.

Swayze Callaway paced Heritage Academy's offense, picking up three kills. Callaway got some help from Hunter Hill and her three assists. Hill was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Heritage Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Neshoba Central, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Heritage Academy has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against South Pontotoc on the 16th. As for Neshoba Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 1-1 tie against Caledonia on the 16th.
