KIPP Legacy extended their winning streak to seven games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Nick Mapp. The KIPP Legacy Lions took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 75-25 win over the BELIEVE Circle City Cyclones thanks in part to Mapp, who went 13 for 16 on his way to 28 points and six rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last 14 games he's played dating back to last season.

The team also got some help courtesy of Tayshawn Fenderson, who posted no points and 14 steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

KIPP Legacy's record now sits at 2-0. As for BELIEVE Circle City, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

KIPP Legacy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-35 victory against Purdue Broad Ripple on the 9th. As for BELIEVE Circle City, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on International at 6:00 p.m. on January 21, 2025.
