Basketball Game Preview: Crown Point Bulldogs vs. Brownsburg Bulldogs

Crown Point and Brownsburg will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Crown Point will bounce into Saturday's game after beating Valparaiso, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Crown Point enjoyed a cozy 63-47 win over Valparaiso on Friday. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Vikings are ranked 141st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Brownsburg posted their closest victory since December 6, 2024 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 48-45 win over Noblesville.

Crown Point pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points over those games. As for Brownsburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season.

Crown Point might still be hurting after the 52-31 loss they got from Brownsburg in their previous meeting back in December of 2023.
