Softball Recap: Barnesville's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After flying high against Fort Frye on Saturday, Barnesville came back down to earth. Barnesville fell just short of Fort Frye by a score of 7-6 on Saturday. The loss was the Shamrocks' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Barnesville fell to 3-1. As for Fort Frye, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Barnesville will challenge Union Local at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Barnesville will need to watch out since Union Local has now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Fort Frye, they will take on St. Marys at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Fort Frye's pitchers better be ready for this one: St. Marys has averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season.
