Baseball Recap: Hazel Park Takes a Loss

Hazel Park lost against Clawson back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Vikings lost 12-4 to the Trojans. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hazel Park saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zay Justice, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Hazel Park's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Clawson, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Hazel Park will be playing at home against Mott at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Marauders will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Clawson, they will venture away from home to take on Clintondale at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
