The biggest upset of the week belonged to Watchung Hills Regional, who took down 91st ranked Watchung Hills Regional, 34-31.

Conor Hughes and Evan Skea provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Linden. The connection was good for 65 yards, the longest such play in Mid-State 38 - Watchung this season.

Ridge's dynamic duo of Hughes and Skea proved tough for the Tigers to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Hughes threw for 136 yards and two touchdowns and Skea had 65 yards receiving. Michael Sibilia helped Ridge's passing attack out by catching two balls for 42 yards.

ANTHONY PRUS was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 230 yards on 27 carries as the Warriors defeated Linden. TOMMY GIAIMO also contributed to the rushing game with 64 yards on the ground.

6-foot-1 quarterback Hughes of Ridge is the league leader in passing yards this season with 393. He has also thrown six touchdowns. On the ground, Watchung Hills Regional's PRUS has rushed for 563 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Sam Oltmans. The Montgomery star has 13 catches for 146 yards.

A big matchup in Mid-State 38 - Watchung this week will be when the Tigers take on Montgomery. At the moment, Linden is in sixth, while the Cougars are in third.

Immaculata suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 21-8 loss to Immaculata. The Spartans had been ranked 18th, but fell to 36 following the defeat.
