Dylan Young Delivers Electric Performance Vs Crawford
Starting off the list is Hay Springs's Dylan Young, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Young threw for 155 yards and four touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing two fumbles, making 14 total tackles, and defending two passes.
The win for Hay Springs keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Young and Hay Springs will challenge Cody-Kilgore on Friday.

Big Game from Hunter As Sioux County Won 62-0
Jack Hunter was a major factor in Sioux County's victory over Minatare on Thursday. Hunter did his part (and then some), rushing for 152 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries for the 'W'. His longest rush was for an impressive 54 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Minatare's probably not too fond of Hunter given he always seems to get the better of them. When Hunter last faced the Indians back in October of 2023, he rushed for 95 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries.

Tripp Buettner Delivers Best Effort of Season
Tripp Buettner produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hay Springs to the win on Friday. Buettner rushed for 143 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 32 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making six total tackles in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
Buettner and Hay Springs will venture away from home to square off against Cody-Kilgore on Friday. The match will pit Buettner up against the Cowboys/Cowgirls' star rusher Brady Skinner. Will the game be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

A Season-Best Performance from Hunter Mcdonald Leads Hay Springs over Crawford
Hunter McDonald produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hay Springs to the win on Friday. McDonald picked up 107 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble, making 11 total tackles, and defending a pass.
This year, McDonald has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 32 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season, he had two receiving touchdowns.

Talan Storer Turns in Season-Best Performance
Arthur County was led to victory by Talan Storer, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday.
