Basketball Recap: Cherry's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Cherry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 56-48 to the Bigfork Huskies. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 57-51 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cherry's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-6. As for Bigfork, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Cherry will head out on the road to face off against Barnum at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Bigfork, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Deer River at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Bigfork knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Deer River likes a good challenge.
