Baseball Recap: St. Paul Swordsmen vs. Paraclete Spirits

St. Paul's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Paraclete Spirits. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Fernie Soto was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
