Volleyball Recap: Fitchburg Takes a Loss

Fitchburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Leominster Blue Devils. If the Red Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Blue Devils when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 23-25, 25-20, 25-20.

Fitchburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Leominster, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Fitchburg will be playing in front of their home fans against Shepherd Hill Regional at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Leominster, they will take on Groton-Dunstable at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
