Baseball Recap: Armwood Takes a Loss

Armwood lost against Sumner back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Armwood Hawks fell just short of the Sumner Stingrays by a score of 4-3. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carlos Navarro made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-3. Princeton Clark also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Armwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Sumner, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Armwood will take on East Bay at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Sumner, they will face off against Durant at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
