Basketball Recap: Onalaska Comes Up Short

Onalaska has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 73-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holmen Vikings on Thursday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hilltoppers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-68 back in December of 2024.

Onalaska's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Holmen, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Onalaska will take on Medford at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Medford has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 209 points over their last three games. As for Holmen, they will square off against Aquinas at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Aquinas' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
