Highlands put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Boyle County Rebels as the Highlands Bluebirds made off with a 94-71 victory. The Bluebirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 23 points or more this season.
Highlands pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Boyle County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highlands and Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Highlands knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy likes a good challenge. Boyle County and Knott County Central will round out the year against one another at at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Knott County Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
