Edwards County entered their tilt with Pana on Saturday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 on Saturday.

Edwards County can attribute much of their success to Jaycee Kolb, who had ten digs and three aces. That's the most digs Kolb has posted over her last 13 contests.

Kolb wasn't the only good server: Edwards County was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Edwards County's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Pana, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Looking ahead, Edwards County will be taking part in a tournament against Anna-Jonesboro at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Pana, they are taking a road trip to challenge Riverton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
