Softball Recap: Morris Catholic Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

Morris Catholic barely beat Weehawken the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Crusaders never let the Indians get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Saturday. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

Morris Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Weehawken, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4.

Coincidentally, Morris Catholic and Weehawken will both be playing St. Thomas Aquinas the next time they take the field. The Indians will head out to face the Trojans at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Crusaders will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
