Volleyball Recap: Hialeah Gardens Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Hialeah Gardens was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Carol City last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Gladiators came up short against the American Heritage Patriots on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Gladiators haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Hialeah Gardens was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made American Heritage work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 28-26.

American Heritage found their leader in sophomore Carly Tabony, who had 21 digs and one assist. With that strong performance, Tabony is now averaging an impressive 10.5 digs per game.

Hialeah Gardens' defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for American Heritage, they pushed their record up to 12-9 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Hialeah Gardens wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against American on the 1st. As for American Heritage, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against True North Classical Academy on the 6th.
