Shadle Park is 0-9 against Mead since December of 2014 but things could change on Friday. The Shadle Park Highlanders will take on the Mead Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Shadle Park is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Ferris, falling 64-43. The Highlanders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-12.

Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Mead's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Ridgeline by a score of 56-54. The contest was a 30-30 toss-up at halftime, but the Panthers couldn't quite close it out.

Mead's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 11-5. As for Shadle Park, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.

Shadle Park took a serious blow against Mead in their previous matchup back in December of 2019, falling 72-41. Can Shadle Park avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
