Baseball Recap: Tyler Takes a Loss

Tyler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 18-0 to the Hallsville Bobcats. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bobcats from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Tyler's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Hallsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Tyler Lions face off against Texas Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hallsville, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on April 11.
