Josey extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Thomson. They managed a 48-43 victory over the Thomson Bulldogs. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won 11 games in a row.

Josey's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keasia Henderson, who shot 56% from the field to rack up 14 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Henderson is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games she's played. Shaniya Sanders was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 12 points and nine boards.

Loss or not, Thomson got some senior leadership from Ty'Leishiah Latimore and Jada Kendrick. Latimore went 5-for-11 en route to 11 points and six steals, while Kendrick posted 13 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jazzlyn Crenshaw, who scored four points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Josey's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points over those games. As for Thomson, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-4.

Josey didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-45 loss against Hardaway on the 28th. Thomson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
