Volleyball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Amber-Pocasset Panthers. The Red Tornadoes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Amber-Pocasset, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-13.

Clinton will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Blanchard at 6:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Amber-Pocasset, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Elgin on the 20th.
