Canyon View is 7-1 against Richfield since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Falcons will take on the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. Canyon View's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Canyon View is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Carbon on Wednesday. The Falcons came up short against the Dinos, falling 4-1.

Meanwhile, Richfield beat North Sanpete 3-1 on Friday. Even though Richfield got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Landen Paulson was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Tanner Olson and Aiden Olsen scored all three of Richfield's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Canyon View's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Richfield, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-4.

Canyon View beat Richfield by a goal in their previous meeting back in March, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
