Wyatt Strawbridge turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Friday. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Umatilla is 6-2 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-4 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Strawbridge and Umatilla will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Shipley at 6:00 p.m. Shipley will enter the matchup having just beaten Delaware County Christian, so Umatilla will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
