The Corsica/Stickney Jaguars will venture away from home to challenge the Tripp-Delmont/Armour Nighthawks at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tripp-Delmont/Armour took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Corsica/Stickney, who comes in off a win.
Last Thursday, Corsica/Stickney earned a 3-1 victory over Gregory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.
Corsica/Stickney walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-11, 20-25, 25-20.

Corsica/Stickney can attribute much of their success to Remi Nelson, who had 11 assists and four aces, and Sophie Delange, who had 19 kills, 13 digs, and one block. Delange is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 29 games she's played dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Tripp-Delmont/Armour was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Burke, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Nighthawks have suffered since September 9th.
While Tripp-Delmont/Armour had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 25-22.
Tripp-Delmont/Armour's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Corsica/Stickney, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.
Corsica/Stickney took their win against Tripp-Delmont/Armour in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
