Football Game Preview: Canisteo-Greenwood vs. Perry/Mount Morris

Canisteo-Greenwood will challenge Perry/Mount Morris on the road at 7:30 PM on Friday. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.

While not quite a landslide, the game between Canisteo-Greenwood and York/Pavilion last Friday was still a pretty decisive one as Canisteo-Greenwood wrapped it up with a 23-8 win. Senior Justin Becker, who picked up 220 yards on the ground, was a major factor in Canisteo-Greenwood's success.

Meanwhile, Perry/Mount Morris put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They blew past Pembroke 30-8. The success made it back-to-back wins for Perry/Mount Morris.

Their wins bumped Perry/Mount Morris to 4-1 and Canisteo-Greenwood to 2-2. Perry/Mount Morris's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Canisteo-Greenwood defensive front that amassed four sacks against York/Pavilion, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
