Soccer Game Preview: West Shore vs. Eau Gallie

The West Shore Wildcats will face off against the Eau Gallie Commodores at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eau Gallie took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on West Shore, who comes in off a win.

West Shore is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Titusville onto the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Tuesday. The score was close at the half, but the Wildcats pulled away in the second half with four goals.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Eau Gallie's offense. They came up short against Heritage on Tuesday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Commodores can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 299th, while the Panthers are ranked 125th).

West Shore pushed their record up to 3-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Eau Gallie, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5-2.
