Volleyball Recap: Cheney Tech Victorious

Cheney Tech lost to Academy of Aerospace and Engineering back in April, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Chargers narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Jets 3-2.

Cheney Tech's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-12. As for Academy of Aerospace and Engineering, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cheney Tech will head out to face off against CREC [Civic Leaderdship/Academy of Aerospace and Engineering/Metropolitan Learning Center] at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers are facing the Colts at the right time seeing as the Colts are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Academy of Aerospace and Engineering, they will take on Academy of Science and Innovation at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jets will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: the Ravens will have lost six straight heading into Friday's game.
