Volleyball Recap: Estero Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Estero faced off against First Baptist Academy on Saturday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Lions. The Wildcats have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Peyton Garrick was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had ten digs and four assists.

Estero's loss dropped their record down to 15-5. As for First Baptist Academy, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 20-1.

Estero has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Oasis on the 4th. As for First Baptist Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Charlotte on the 4th.
