Basketball Recap: Wilson Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wilson can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 56-28 loss at the hands of the Akron Tigers. The loss continues a trend for the Lakemen in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Wilson's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Akron, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 23-1.

Wilson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Akron, they will face off against World of Inquiry at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. World of Inquiry knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 matchups -- so hopefully Akron likes a good challenge.
