 The Alisal Trojans will look to defend their home field  on Wednesday against the Trinity Christian Warriors at 4:00  p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Alisal has seven straight  victories, Trinity Christian has six straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
 Alisal put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season  on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Marina  a   15-0 shutout.
  Jasmine Estrada made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Estrada has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Estrada was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with three  RBI, a  triple,  and a  run.
 In other batting news,  Jordan Smith was  incredible,  scoring four  runs and  stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games she's  played.  Aaliyah Ruiz was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing four bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Trinity Christian fell victim to a  rough 17-8 defeat at the hands of Seaside  on Thursday.
 Alisal's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Trinity Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
