Basketball Recap: Sequoyah Comes Up Short

Sequoyah was the 49-41 winner over Polk County when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Sequoyah Chiefs lost to the Polk County Wildcats on the road by a 68-51 margin on Tuesday. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sequoyah's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Polk County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sequoyah will face off against Loudon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Polk County, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Roane County at 6:00 p.m.
