Baseball Recap: Maple River Comes Up Short

Maple River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 19-1 to the Lisbon Broncos.

Maple River's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Lisbon, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Looking ahead, Maple River will take on Waterville-Elysian-Morristown at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lisbon, they will square off against Enderlin at 10:45 a.m. on Friday. The Broncos are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
