Basketball Recap: Harding University Takes a Loss

Harding University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against the Hough Huskies, falling 70-22. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 368th, while the Huskies are ranked 97th).

Kate Breault had a dynamite game for Hough, going 6 for 10 on her way to 17 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Sophia Zoerb, who posted 18 points.

Harding University's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Hough, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Harding University has already played their next game (against West Mecklenburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hough didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-9 victory against Hopewell on the 17th.
