The Forest Hills Rangers will face off against the Chestnut Ridge Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Jake Yatsky made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Bryce Roberts was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-4. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Williamson, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Chestnut Ridge never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over Berkeley Springs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Kole Clark and Tyler Yatta did most of the damage at the plate: Clark went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI and one run, while Yatta scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Marcus Weaver, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Chestnut Ridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Berkeley Springs only posted an OBP of .125.
