Softball Recap: Riverside Find Success

Riverside proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 11) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Riverbend Bears 4-3.

Gabby Cinnamon was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Ashley Bui also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Riverside's record is now 3-1. As for Riverbend, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Riverside will head out to challenge Loudoun County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverbend, they will host Orange County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Orange County will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Riverbend surely won't give up without a fight.
