Baseball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Mt. Pleasant's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Ringgold Rams on Tuesday. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

This is the second loss in a row for Mt. Pleasant and nudges their season record down to 10-7-1. As for Ringgold, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-9.

Looking ahead, Mt. Pleasant will host Ligonier Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ringgold, they will head out on the road to face off against Greensburg Salem at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Golden Lions have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
