Volleyball Recap: Macksville Mustangs vs. Ellis Railroaders
Macksville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Ellis Railroaders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2019.
The final score came out to 25-19, 25-14.
Macksville's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Ellis, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.
Macksville is on the road again on Tuesday to play St. John. As for Ellis, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win vs. South Gray on the 28th.
