Football Recap: Denver East Starts Season with Defeat at Home + How To Watch

Denver East unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 21-17 to the Denver North Vikings on Thursday. The Angels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The victory got Denver North back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Denver East will be playing at home against Legend at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Denver North, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-6 defeat against Northglenn on the 25th.
